Take the Auctionbytes Payment Services Survey

If you are an ecommerce entrepreneur you may want to stop over to Auctionbytes.com and fill out their 2011 Sellers Choice Payment Services survey. The link to the survey can be found in this Auctionbytes blog article. The survey allows you to rate the top online payment processors including Google Checkout, Amazon Payments and Paypal.

The survey asks a few questions about seller preferences and selling methods and practices, and has ratings for the payment gateways. One thing that is not really addressed very well though is the independent processor. All the companies listed in the survey are companies that process cards and payments like Paypal, which I suppose is the point of the survey, but there were no questions regarding how well liked independently run website checkouts work. Many sites simply choose to use a service from their local bank or from a service like Authorize.net that is integrated into their website.
